The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released an updated set of Survey Resources for nursing home surveys effective August 8, 2024 – the same as the new Facility Assessment requirements. The following are changes to be aware of:
- Revised State Operations Manual Appendix PP has been released (8/8/2024)
- The list of F-tags has been revised to reflect changes to the Facility Assessment’s location. The Facility Assessment now has its own regulatory group.
- There were minor tweaks made to two of the Critical Element Pathways to reflect the Facility Assessment’s location reference.
