A couple weeks ago, CMSCG posted revisions to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Long-Term Care Survey Process (LTCSP) survey resources, including a revised Appendix PP. There have been additional changes since then, so please note:
- On 8/16/2024, another revision to State Operations Manual Appendix PP was issued. That revision included updates to F758 Free From Unnecessary Psychotropic Meds/ PRN Use. Download SOM Appendix PP (Revised 8/16/2024) here.
- On 8/20/2024, the Survey Resources file was updated to include a revised list of Ftags. The Ftag list inadvertently included F888, a regulatory tag which is no longer in use. Download the Survey Resources .zip file here. (Appendix PP is included in this file as well).
