On June 18, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new QSO Memo, “Updates to Nursing Home Compare.” The Memo includes important updates for providers to be aware of. Key changes include:
- Third-Cycle Standard Surveys are being removed from the Health Inspection Rating.
- Performance Data for nursing home chains will be posted on Nursing Home Compare.
- Long-Stay Antipsychotic Quality Measure is being updated on Nursing Home Compare.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Measures will be removed from each facility’s profile page on Nursing Home Compare
