On Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, Kelly Hellberg, MS, RD, CDN, and Danielle Nichtern, MA, RD, CDN, Dietary Consultants with CMS Compliance Group, will lead the Nutritional Directors Leadership Workshop for the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA).
This four-hour online workshop is designed for Nutrition Directors and dietary professionals in post-acute and long-term care. Kelly and Danielle will look at recent New York survey citations and what they mean for your department: the regulatory requirements, the dining experience, and the clinical nutrition care residents receive. You’ll leave with practical tools you can use in your own building.
The session includes a roundtable discussion and time for your questions.

About the Presenters
Kelly has worked as a Director of Food and Nutrition and Chief Clinical Dietitian in nursing facilities and helps facilities prepare for recertification surveys. Danielle has a decade of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with a focus on geriatric nutrition and quality assurance, and performs mock surveys, audits, and staff training.
