The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued Transmittal #R208SOMA on October 10, 2022 with the subject, “Revisions to State Operation Manual (SOM), Appendix PP Guidance to Surveyors for Long Term Care Facilities.”
The implementation date for the updated SOM is Monday, October 24, 2022.
