On March 31, 2025, the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) distributed a new DAL (DACF 25-17 / NH 25-08) which will likely be music to the ears of every nursing home and adult care facility administrator. Changes are being made to the required daily HERDS COVID-19 reporting requirements. Here’s what to know:
- Daily reporting of COVID-19 reporting data will no longer be required effective April 2, 2025
- The reporting requirement is being switched to weekly reporting. The weekly reporting will take place every week on Tuesdays.
