CMS Compliance Group President Linda Elizaitis will be speaking on a LeadingAge New York Audio Conference, “Managing the Survey Process.” This event will take place on February 26, 2013 at 10am. A Traditional Survey or a QIS can be a trying time for an Administrator and the facility’s staff. Being prepared for survey and knowing how to manage the actual survey process are skills the Administrator and top personnel should know. During this program we will review top current survey issues and how to prevent a possible citation.
Attendees will learn:
- How to manage the overall survey process and the importance of systems
- The mistake of only doing survey “prep”
- The importance of being current on revised regulations
- How meeting clinical standards affect survey outcomes
