The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released updated survey resources for the Long-Term Care Survey Process (LTCSP), effective April 30, 2026. Per the Revision History for LTC Survey Process Documents and Files, the following updates were made:
- Survey Resources Folder updated – LTCSP Procedure Guide, LTCSP Mapping document, CMS-20091 Extended Survey, List of Revised Ftags, QSO Memo QSO-26-03-NH (revised 4/3/2025)
- LTCSP Interim Revisit Instructions
The April 2026 Ftag List is available is available as part of these revisions. The LTCSP Interim Paper-Based Onsite Revisit Instructions are also available, which provides information on how a revisit should be conducted.
