The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has created a guide for nursing homes and assisted living facilities to help protect their residents from financial exploitation. It includes information on relevant laws, potential warning signs, prevention techniques and resources to assist facilities. The guide also includes relevant topics for in-service training or staff orientation.
