In August 2014, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) released a learning tool, “Building Respect for LGBT Older Adults.” The online tool consists of six training modules to increase awareness of the issues faced by LGBT individuals living in LTC facilities. CMS has issued an update to the web link for the learning tool.
