In a June 7, 2013 letter (Ref: S&C: 13-37-NH) to State Survey Agency Directors, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the rollout of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Materials for Nursing Homes (QAPI), a much anticipated announcement.
The following materials will be available on the QAPI website for nursing homes to use as resources:

- QAPI Tools
- QAPI News Brief
- Video: “Nursing Home QAPI – What’s in it for You?”
Additionally, the results of the Nursing Home Quality Improvement Questionnaire that was sent out in 2012 will be posted on their website sometime this summer. A firm date has not been provided.
