Session Overview: Although you may not want to hear it, your investigations could probably use some work and your investigators more education. In this session, you’ll recognize how your organization’s investigations likely need some enhancement and understand how many facility investigations don’t really include sufficient information to support how you concluded that there was no abuse, neglect or mistreatment after an occurrence. The presenter will provide insight into regulatory expectations and best practices for conducting a sound investigation. Attendees will also gain clarity on understanding what’s really supposed to be reported.
