On February 21, 2024, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued an update, “OIG Announces the Next Anticipated Compliance Program Guidance Documents.” OIG had announced in 2023 that it planned to update existing compliance program guidance documents (CPGs) and would provide new guidance. In today’s update, OIG states that it intends to publish specific guidance for nursing facilities in 2024.
