The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) added new items to its Work Plan in August, one of which is “Accuracy of Nursing Home Compare Website’s Reported Health, Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Deficiencies.” The report, expected in FY 2021, will provide a review of the data included on Nursing Home Compare to determine whether it is accurate for the purposes of ensuring consumers can rely on the website when selecting a nursing home.
