- On September 23, 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) posted the updated Final MDS 3.0 Item Sets version 1.20.1v4 which goes into effect October 1, 2025.
- CMS also posted an updated Final MDS 3.0 RAI User’s Manual version 1.20.1 on September 2025. This is also effective October 1, 2025.
