FQC Advanced Administrator Leadership Program

The Foundation for Quality Care will be offering an Advanced Nursing Home Administrator leadership program in October-November 2013. This program is for nursing home administrators who have completed the basic Nursing Home Administrator course. CMS Compliance Group President Linda Elizaitis will instructing one of the sessions for this course.

  • Update on State and National Issues / Advocacy and the LTC Leader
• Session 2
  • Implementing Change Successfully
  • Continuous Quality Improvement based on Baldridge Principals
• Session 3
  • Strategic Planning for the LTC Leader
  • Update on the QIS Survey & Compliance Issues – This section will be instructed by Linda Elizaitis
• Session 4
  • Legal Aspects: Health Care Reform
  • Quality Measures
  • 5 Star Rating Update
  • Pay-for-Performance
• Session 5
  • Maximizing Your Fiscal Potential
  • Managed Care
• Session 6
  • Coaching for Successful Performance
  • Team Building Project

This program will take place in Syracuse and is open to the following regions: Western, Rochester, Central, Northeast and Utica/Watertown. Applications are available now on the NYSHFA website and the deadline is August 16, 2013. Space is extremely limited for this program.
