The letter notes that new dining practice recommendations have been provided for nursing home residents, including expanding diet options for older individuals, and a new surveyor training video that provides information on new dining standards of practice and therapeutic diets. It notes that a document has been released on standards of practice related to “dining, food consistency, thickened liquids, and tube feedings.”
