After pushback from providers, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended the effective date for the updated Conditions of Participation (CoP) for home health agencies (HHAs) back 6 months. Originally effective July 13, 2017, the effective date is now set to be January 13, 2018. Information on the delay can be found in the Federal Register.
