Strategy Five of the Nursing Home Action Plan is the final strategy listed in this document. Strategy 5, “Create Strategic Approaches through Partnerships” looks at how different entities – from consumers to providers to the S&C Group – can work together for effective quality assurance. CMS outlines the work that it has done with different entities and their plans for the future in this strategy, including:
- State Agency (SA) and Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Collaboration
- Collaboration with National Organizations for Advancing Excellence Campaigns
- Aligning/Coordinating Stakeholders, Residents/Families via the Nursing Home Convergence workgroup
- National Background Check Program
