The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recently updated its list of Symptoms of Coronavirus, with a prior update to include additional respiratory symptoms having occurred in late April. The CDC symptoms webpage now includes (but is not limited to) the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
The CDC also updated the underlying medical conditions for people at increased risk for severe illness on June 25, 2020.
