Healthcare Leaders to be Honored by United Hebrew of New Rochelle at Gala

Four Healthcare Leaders to be Honored by United Hebrew of New Rochelle at its 99th Anniversary Gala Celebration

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Nonprofit organizations rely heavily on contributions from individuals, government, and business in order to provide the services and support those in need require. To thank four individuals who have helped United Hebrew of New Rochelle emerge as a leading and respected provider of senior care, United Hebrew will honor four healthcare leaders at its 99th anniversary gala on October 4.

Donald Duberstein, past chair of the United Hebrew Board of Directors; Corporate Honoree Linda Elizaitis, president, CMS Compliance Group, Inc.; and Community Service Honoree Scott Amrhein, president, CCLC of New York. Daniel Reingold, President & CEO, RiverSpring Health, will receive United Hebrew’s Healthcare Recognition Award, which will be presented by Rita Mabli, president and CEO.

“Collectively, their passion and leadership allows us to remain true to our nonprofit mission,” says Mabli. “With the help and exceptional talents of these individuals, we are able to provide comprehensive services that allow seniors to age in place, and to be cared for under our umbrella of services, even as their healthcare needs change. These leaders are each a tremendous resource.”

The Autumn Celebration gala will be held at the Glen Island Harbor Club in New Rochelle on Thursday, October 4. It begins at 6 pm with cocktails, followed by a lavish buffet, entertainment, and awards ceremony. For tickets or sponsorship opportunities, visit uhgc.org/register-for-an-event or contact Grace Ferri at 914-632-2804 or gferri@uhgc.org.

The gala is the signature fundraising event for United Hebrew, which offers an array of services on its 7.5 acre campus, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation, assisted living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and home health care. Proceeds support life-enriching activities, therapies and recreational programs that foster a meaningful lifestyle for residents across the campus.
