OSHA Updates Workplace Violence Prevention Guidelines

OSHA has updated its Guidelines for Preventing Workplace Violence for Healthcare and Social Service Workers, which updates the 1996 and 2004 voluntary guidelines for preventing this type of violence in residential treatment centers and other care settings. The document provides information on essential components of a workplace violence prevention program, a tool for analysis and hazard identification, hazard controls and more.
