Administrative Law Judge requests to be submitted electronically

CMS released an S&C letter on April 24, 2015 for all providers regarding requests for Administrative Law Judge hearings. Reiterating a prior requirement, the letter states that starting October 1, 2014, electronic submissions must be used when providers are requesting a hearing regarding civil remedies.

To file a DAB E-File, providers must include a signed hearing request and a copy of the notice from CMS that includes information on the adverse action and the appeal rights of the provider.
